A standard wednesday lotto game is played by picking 6 numbers from 1 to 45.
Wednesday lotto numbers are drawn from an electric barrel which holds 45 balls numbered from 1 to 45 and the draw is broadcast on Australian television every wednesday night. A total of 8 balls are drawn and the first 6 are the winning lotto numbers for the division 1 jackpot prize. The last 2 balls drawn are the supplementary numbers which determine the Divisions 2 and 5 lotto prizes.
If there is no First Prize Division 1 winner, then the prize jackpots to the next Monday Lotto draw’s division 1.

Division 1: All six main winning numbers
Division 2: Any 5 main winning numbers and either supplementary number
Division 3: Any 5 main winning numbers
Division 4: Any 4 main winning numbers
Division 5: Any 3 main winning numbers and either supplementary number
If there is no Division 1 winner then the prize is jackpotted to the next Monday Lotto draw’s division 1.
