Saturday lotto is drawn from an electric barrel holding 45 balls – numbers 1 to 45 inclusive and the draw is broadcast on Australian television every saturday night. A total of 8 balls get drawn and the first 6 are the winning lotto numbers for the division 1 jackpot prize. The last 2 balls drawn are the supplementary numbers which determine the Divisions 2 and 5 lotto prizes.
